Title of Project: Rhythm & Us
What goals did you have with this project? The 2010 Macy’s Music Festival, held at the Cincinnati Bengals’ Paul Brown Stadium, is a musical blending of various urban artists. We wanted a visual that could set the tone of the event, to be used from programs to jumbo-trons. We needed it to reflect the bright, fun, and hip environment this festival creates.
Describe the final outcome of the project: Following my initial artistic direction, Dave independently researched musical subject matter that fit the very colorful and clever style of the festival and Macy’s. He also played with the star from the Macy’s logo to further integrate our classic appeal into the design.
On top of Dave going such a great job, working with Scott and his talent pool is always a pleasure and learning experience.
