1) Change the idea people have of “creatives” by creating a new model of leadership.

4) Skill and attitude is essential. Authority is not. Authority can get in the way.

5) Updated and relevant companies are hiring younger and younger. We must educate this new wave of art youngsters on the value of original art.

6) Talk about your passion. Even if it upsets someone.

7) Energize and transform.

8) Tell your story, lead a movement, make a change, create your tribe.

9) Eliminate “sleepwalkers”– those who just “get by”.

10) Look at the status quo and change it.

All of this is worthless if you don’t decide to really lead. It all goes to waste if your leadership is compromised, if you settle, if you don’t commit.
